LOOSE RINGS
Loose rings are designs to move freely from the mouthpiece, and this gives the horse more freedom using his tongue to place the mouthpiece higher or lower and put the pressure where he prefers.
This way, the loose rings and the mouthpiece works more separately than fixed rings.
Using bit guards will slow down the rings’ movements if you prefer to have something a bit more steady. The hole, where the ring goes through should start just outside the mouth corners flesh. To avoid the pinching effect, we recommend using our Mouth corner tape.
Loose rings are a good choice for a horse that prefers to lean on the bit, and can be stiff. But this is also depending on what mouthpiece you choose to go with it. For a playful mouth, you might consider using something more steady.
